There ya go. I know it's not all that engaging... that's why it's ambiance.

For some reason, there's no edit button showing up... I'm logged in, though... weird.

Here's a short description of the song in case you guys are interested.

This song uses a lot of synthy instruments. What you hear from the beginning is a simple sytrus synth with free filter effects on to it. The notes that play with them are broken chords that usually back up the whistling melody.

The melody is played by a whistling instrument, known as the Angelic Whistle in FL Studio. It's kind of quiet, but it's there.

The chorus is a basic pattern of whole notes in an interesting arrangement.

Then there is a breakdown of the song about halfway through where I used the drums to kind of kick-start the piece again. Also, after this point, the chorus changes to include quarter notes at the end of each rythem.

A few more verses... yadda yadda...

The ending introduces a new instrument, another kind of synthy beep that kind of takes over the melody. I've had people say they can't stop listening to the last minute of this song before due to that small part. Particularly listen to the end and how the the notes keep building up and up as the song fades it out. Is it sucesfully gives the impression of ascending.

I'd also like to ask, is this song well named? What does it give you the impression of?

Thank you for listening!

I quite like this. It works as an ambient piece but if you don't mind me saying so it goes on a bit long...BUT...that's because I'm listening to it. As ambience it would work differently.

I noticed that you either use a long drum loop or keep varying it - nice. The same 1 or 2 bars of drumming going through an entire piece gets boring. You got the balance about right too.

THANK YOU VERY DEEPLY for your response.

The drums are a pattern that varies every 4 measures or so. I'm going to check my project in a minute, if I can find the file...
