Looking for Pop music composer

I'm looking for a pop music composer. The project is for a podcast series that I'm making. I already wrote the lyrics, have a singer for the song, and the basic tune.

If you are interested, then please reply here.

If you have some examples, that would be great but not necessary.

The music composer will be credited at the end of each podcast.

More info would be nice, like compensation, description of the song, description of the podcast etc. etc...
And by "having the basic tune", what do you mean? Does it mean you already the whole melody of the song down, and just want someone to do the accompaniment? Or anything else?

I may be interested in this after the questions are answered.

Hi Nigel, here are my answers to your question.

Compensation - there is no pay since the podcast will not be a paid program. It will be free to everyone and I'm hoping to release it on mid-May or earlier. The name of the music composer will be mentioned at the end of each podcast though (as well as his or her website if he or she wants to).

Description of the song - the song is about a singer describing himself or herself what he or she does in a fantasy (actually, video game) world.

Description of the podcast - It is about a boy who is transported into a video game world that he's familiar of.

As for the basic tune issue, forget about it. When I was writing the lyrics, I had a tune in my head. And when I was looking for a (male or female) singer, I asked them to just sing my lyrics with their own tune. I narrowed my selection to two females and their tunes sounded better than what I had in my head. Actually, after giving it some more thought, I came to the conclusion that the tune that I had, was designed more for a male singer.

So, now, I want the music composer to compose the music based on my female singer's tune. I have an open mind about the tunes so if the composer thinks that the stanza or chorus parts needs to have a different tune than the one that my singer have, then maybe I'll pick the composer's tune.

I hope these answers your questions. If you have anymore, then just let me know.

are you looking for just harmonies that work with the vocal melodies? or are you asking for a completely finished song (composition- and production-wise)?

it seems interesting but i'd like to see some more info though.

To James and Robert, I just need the harmonies. I'll produce/mix the song.

Send me a private message along with your email address so I can send you the voice file and the lyrics if you are interested. Thanks.

Lee: Why can't you write harmonies yourself?

Here you go:

Am F C G Bm G D A C#m A E B /

chorus

Bm Bb Fm F

etc...

is this what you want? Cause this seems... too little. And pop is all about production after all, at least provide an example of what you cant do...

Because I don't have a background on writing music notes. I don't even understand what you wrote.

James and Robert sent me private messages and I'll send them emails to see whether they can do them. If any of you are still interested, you can still send me a message but I'll only respond if I didn't like the music that James or Robert came out with.
