Hey there.
There are some nice things going on, but I feel like the lines guitar, strings, vibraphone whatever the insturmentation is, they arnt fitting together in a lovely way. It feels this three independent lines (not like a fugue) that you just throwed together. It doesnt make me meditate and think of love. I would suggest trying to make them flow and connect more.

well, love is not always lovely or like a fugue or even makes us think of love ever.

I do agree with tenor that they sound like three independent lines, but I liked that. Right now it is kind of in the middle. Maybe you should either meld them together more or make them more independent.

this is polyphony, so the voices must be independent.

That's what I mean. Either make it more homophonic or make it more polyphonic (or at least more obviously). It's just my opinion.

The problem isn't the polyphony, it's the harmonic progression. If you're going to use common practice tonality you can't meander. I suggest listening/studying to some adagio movements from Bach's Brandenburg concertos, that's a bit in the vein of what you're doing thematically/harmonically/etc. You actually have a pretty decent grasp on counterpoint. Infact it was quite good, you've just got to refine the harmonic motion. So yeah, don't listen to anyone on this thread who's saying, "It sounds like 3 seperate lines, make it more homophonic", that's completely ridiculous. You're doing fine!
