Piano Sonata Arrangement

Okay, here's my attempt at harmonization.

I liked the piano melody so much that I left it at the forefront, just with simple accompaniment behind.

I did change the last measure to create a more finished ending.

(BTW: I loved Hihi's arrangement! Great interpretation!)

Piano Sonata No. 2 In C Minor

Hey Guys,

Wow! So many people have posted already Thanks for all the nice comments about my melody! I wish I could have finished with it before I posted it online, but I was too excited about doing my own version and seeing what other people thought that I decided to post it anyway - thats why the last measure was unfinished, as David pointed out.

Well, I don't think I stayed too closely within the rules , but after all it is my melody lol The later half remains relatively unchanged, the first half is pretty different though. I think I might need to chop off the end section too, seems to take away the dramatic edge. I saved it as a the original piano sonata, and also as a work for church organ and a violin sonata for a bit of contrast (without the end section). Please tell me which of the three you prefer, and if I should scrap the end section.

Really enjoyed Frantz piece (very Baroque! and loved your counter melodies - very your style!!) and Arthur's (had zest but was very short); Hihi's percussion ensemble (very Monkey Island 2 lol) and David Guinness (yours is almost exactly like mine in some parts, its scary!). Anyway, thanks again guys, and please comment on mine.

Regards
Pravin

P.S
I think its in C minor - could someone with better knowledge of theory please tell me? lol. thanks

It's indeed in C minor. I had problems transcirpting it correctly.

As for my piece, it's eventually unfinished. I'll finish it very soon!
