Well, this is a first try here.
Kept it in the traditional style (or not? )
(By the way: it's no fugue, but it's 'fugatic'!)

Edit: some minor edits on the piece

I started this last night (Sept 6) and worked all night and day on it so as to hopefully redeem myself at least partially.

I am afraid this one looks a bit too much alike the original, but who cares

By the way: who says the key is D-minor, I've also made a piece in F-major.

Note: The pieces are very cool. Especially the jazzy one, really rocks!

Here is a more polished version of my last harmonization with a trio sonata instrumentation (flute, recorder, continuo).

wow!!! congratulations Recursion! your setting is wonderful! powerful, highly melodic and full of inventiveness and vivacity, and with lovely textures and faultless harmonies!

And the "worst harmonization ever" award goes to...

nintenboy5!

Its rather horrible.... its for a brass quintet (2 trumpets, F horn, Trombone, Tuba)

If there is something I cannot stand, nintenboy5, just as much as over-pride, is over-selfhumiliation.
