Rolfier, your take was definately different, taking a more chromatic spin. The dissonance contrasted with the melody which gave the minor section sound a disturbing feel, but in a good way

Perin: I read something about a flute/oboe solo you created based off this melody. Where can I find it?

CA: Nice elaboration on the baroque style. This version sound more resolved, perhaps since each phrase ends in the tonic. My fav. part was around 0:17 when the harpsicord counterpoint began. Thanks for pointing out the out-of-tune sound. Apperently when you export as MIDI in FL Studio then re-open the file it can set the tracks out of tune. Didn't notice that before. It's corrected now.

Thank you. That was just what I was going for.

I opened yours in Sibelius and just got drums and junk. So I had to listen to the midi. Sorry, I hate the sounds of midi. But I could see where you were going and I think with better sounds I would like it.

Haha... drums??? I was thinking about porting it into Finale Allegro, but instead I'll see if I can use some soundfonts and post an MP3 later. I have really good flute soundfonts, but need to find some good soundfonts for the other instruments (the ones I have sound midi-ish especially the contrabass).

I'll be waiting, anxiously in anticipation.

Much better. I use Sibelius, so I'm stuck just with the sounds I got. So I can't help you with finding others.
