I had some fun with this and surprised myself... it turned into a fully-fledged brass choir piece. I might enter in for this Conceptual Music Competition, it sounds like it fits in with the theme for Last Stand. I might add a little more, but it is complete as is.

If you'll notice, at one point I was in an alternating pattern of 3/8 and 2/8 time, and there are a lot of measures in 5/4. I really enjoyed using these time signatures, this is the first time I've ever truly gotten anything to 'work' in them. I'm proud of myself!

If I DO enter this in for CMC, do you want credit for the motif, Anders? If so, how much?

EDIT: Scratch that, I've decided that it doesn't fit the CMC theme just quite well enough, so I won't be using it for that. I have to come up with something else.

Barbaric = resembling qualities exhibited by barbarians, primitive, uncivilized, crude, ...
Barbaric tune (not tone, he meant tune) would then be a tune/melody that musically depicts barbarian and crude behavior.

Awww, Anders, come on....it sounds like it's in a key. How regressive can one get?
