Micheal Rabin plays Zieguenerweisen

I know that it's a show piece for violinists, but take a listen to this!
I have never heard Rabin play this piece, and it's amazing!

I think that he was only 16 when he recorded that.

Regardless of his age, it is a very mature sounding recording.

I had never heard much of Rabin up until I found that piece. Now I am wishing that he lived longer. lol

It's a great version, although my favorite is still Heifetz's.

Heifetz's is way too crisp and clear. But I guess you're entitled to your own opinions(even if they are wrong)
