Midi note input

Is there a simple way of turning on and off the midi note input from an external keyboard in Sibelius version 4? I record a passage into Sibelius but then when I have finished and am trying to work out a voicing or practice a new passage it keeps inputing this over previous passages.
Cheers

There's actually a fairly simple solution.

GET FINALE and you'll never have that problem again.

Cheers.
