You realy need to be a great preformer to play this piece, i doubt any other orchestra could play this, its just to hard. They play supersonic music, tuned to high for the human ear, great experince of music!

Great art, you have to study at least 30 years to do a piece like this!

Grow up.
It may not be music (to me) but there's an obvious philosophical intent.

You're also not one to talk about 30 years of study of music.

No realy , this is insane, this is no composition, this is not music, this is silence, when you are home at night before you sleep, the same silence, he did not produce anything.
The silence is allways there, and the crows applaud him and he get famous for a piece with no lyric, no music, not even a single note, this is wild!

I think that in this piece there is the fullfillment of how human being can be weird.... i think it is more of a psycological experiment than simple art or anything else.

you see a big orchestra sitting there, a conductor, all the crew...all them payed, then the crowd, all there sitting quiet and listening to nothing, or better, to just the noyses made by some that cough, some that sneeze....maybe ur neighbout let out a really advanced creation, high class as for a fugue........of gas :p but yeah, you see maybe 300 ppl sitting there, listening to nothing, just being quiet, and they payed for it!

how fun we are sometimes! and how weird ppl can be!!

humans are amazing sometimes! great acheivements with nothing..... better than this? nothing esle in this world!

and hey...look at it in this way.... everybody can perform it, and everybody can be a great performer for a day!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYY

You will never know the true intention of a composer.
For all we know, Cage might be laughing at us for playing along.
