Mood Music

Hey everybody, this is my first post. I've been fooling around lately and trying to create music with distinctly different moods. I am curious to see what sorts of images or feelings this piece invokes. It's nothing complex or inspired, but I'd appreciate the help.

By "mood music", do you mean incidental music? If so, this piece might be better placed in the Incidental forum.

I thought it was quite nice - definitely set a mood, though I'd be interested to learn which precise one you were aiming for. This is exactly the kind of music you tend to hear in advertisements nowadays, given its concise and somewhat idiosyncratic feel.

Does the recording contain live takes, or are they samples? It all sounds rather realistic to me.

It's all played live, the bass is played on a keyboard as is the drum track, the banjo and guitar are the real thing.

I suppose the mood I was going for is just a lumbering "sunny day" type feel. A friend of mine said it made him think of a moose walking through the woods.

Amiable pensiveness for me.

It make me think is from advertisements, also what make me think is of someone waiting for something and reading the newspaper.

Ah, there is promotion for a newspaper! Long time waiting in the doctor? Go with the _______ and read while you wait! Get informed with the new news! Sports! Economy! Etc!

That is what brought to my mind.
