Movement for String Quartet

I'd like some feedback on this. It's only my third composition and my knowledge of theory does not go beyond partwriting, so I'm not horribly confident. I know some of the keys and accidentals are not exactly string friendly, but as a violinist I didn't deem this to be much of a problem. The movement is loosely in sonata-allegro form and is influenced by Beethoven.

I quite liked this piece and felt that it did sound well-crafted and fluent. Overall, if you were aiming for the style of Beethoven... then I think you achieved it, given where you are at in terms of composing, so in that sense you're on the right track.

What I would suggest in this piece is possibly looking for another theme to incorporate in there. I think you took a somewhat uninspiring theme at first and developed it very well throughout into a satisfying product. Looking through the piece however, it appeared that all the significant material was derived from the one theme. If you gave yourself more musical material to work with, you could extend this work to a more satisfying length and give more scope for development.

i really enjoyed this piece though I'm not very big fan of composing in a specific style because it usually ends up miming something that has already been well documented. However, here I sense something of your own perspective that in the end makes me want to like this piece. The midi is horrible, here is a sampled one to get a better idea:
