Check this out, guys. I stumbled upon it the other day and I thought it was a neat little way of mathematically visualizing the relationships between scales, notes, and harmonies...see what you make of it:

One of the compositions professors at FSU is really into mathematical involvement in harmony and composition... check him out.. I don't remember which one though.
