.mus's and .pdfs

Is it possible to turn a .mus file into a .pdf? Page navigation in Finale is very similar to Acrobat...

a .MUS file is the propretary format of Finale products. It is a music notation and MIDI-capable format.

To create a .PDF you need to print the .MUS file through the Finale product.

A .PDF creator is need for this. This is a programme that acts as a virtual printer in the printer list, but makes the conversion of graphical information to .PDF format.

Adobe makes the well-known PDF creator, however it is pretty expensive. On the other hand there are a number of free, shareware, or very inexpensive PDF creators on the market. You could try looking up CutePDF. It comes highly recommended.

In musical criticism, when issues of craft and technical consideration are set aside, what remains is more subjective. However, until technical issues are dealt with, the subjective portion bears considerably less weight.

I use CutePDF. Many people here use it, and it's easy, fast and free!

After installing CutePDF, when you print in Finale, just select CutePDF Writer as your printer, and it automatically creates a PDF.

Download Here: CutePDF - Create PDF for free, Free PDF Utilities, Edit PDF easily;.

As far as I know, Macs can create pdfs as a print option - no extra software needed. I'm not a Mac owner but I think this is correct.

True - go to Print, and it says down at the bottom of the window, "PDF" with a pull-down arrow. Pull down the arrow and say, "Save as PDF..."
