This is my first submission. I joined this forum only recently, and I think it's a great idea.

These are the instruments:

2 Flutes, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, 2 Trombones, Piano, Bass Guitar, Drum Kit.

Hmm, I'm not very imaginative with names lol, can someone maybe suggest a better name please. (for my composition) Some ideas on how to improve would be great.

Thanks.

I don't know much about this kind of music, and perhaps that is why i find it so impressive! "sad" sounds real nice, only it's not too sad i think... but melodies are beuatiful, but i somethimes felt like you should use more instruments at onice. Add more to the background/counterpoint, and mke the tone richer... other then that i wouldn't know what you should fix - the piece is awsome.

Sorry to say this, but i hate giving names to other peoples pieces... but i can tell you that it reminded me of someone leaving his home place to go somewhere far.far sway.... (silly, huh?)
i have trouble naming my own too.

Thanks so much for the great feedback Yeah, I just listened to the actual midi file in sibelius, and it doesn't play back the pedal marks that I put in. I don't know, but that might be one of the reasons it sounds a bit dry. Wow, especially at the middle part it sounds really thin (I'm listening to it now). You're probably right about the instruments as well, I'll do that as well for my next song.

I'm just wondering, does this mp3 i recorded from my keyboard sound better?

Sad mp3 file
