New song idea

I just want to know what do you think about this song idea?
9/8 intsrumental rock kinda ballad thing or not

If you hadn't mentioned it before, I never would've guessed this was in 9/8....
But other than that, nice groove. I don't hear a melody (unless that guitar solo was it?), but nice job.....
I like that little arpeggio thing the (acoustic gutiar?) is playing....

Yes the arpeggio thing is Acoustic guitar. Yes that guitar solo is the main melody and a little variation of it.

This is pretty damn cool. I really dig the arpeggios, especially the way they hit that F# coming down. The drums are also nice, as you didn't just copy some incredibly basic 9/8 beat into every measure. The bass was a little boring, though, especially considering that it went absolutely nowhere, and the melody also could have done a lot more when it was played the second time through. . . it wasn't varied enough to keep my interest too much. Also, it seems like you aren't even done entering the keyboard part. That could also really use some spicing up, as it's doing just about nothing at the moment. Overall, though, I really like the feel of this, and if you keep it up for more sections and make this into a full piece, I think it can kick fair amounts of ass.

And by the way, this reminds me a bit of the song "Unbreakable" off Sieges Even's album The Art of Navigating by the Stars, so you might want to check them out, as they may be your style.

Well I'm not good with bass parts thats why its little boring and yeah melody can be variated more.

I just think that keyboard part for entering and the second repeat of melody. Because I think if i put same thing goin all over it will sounds boring. I'm not good to arranging/composing. That's why i asking.

I will check that song that you saying. I never heard it before.

The rhythm and meter make me happy. :3

I like where it's going but it is very melodically nondescript. Thence, in the next section I suggest you come in with a pretty strong lead which is almost startling. Something that will invoke interest moreso. Otherwise, think about leading into the next section with a C# because it necessarily anticipates it.
