Here is a set of short Duets I have written for Violin and Viola. They begin quite simply, and gradually become more complicated and technically difficult. I had a sort of didactic purpose in mind for these..... (my inspiration was Bartok's 44 duos for two violins)

1. Melody
2. At Unison
3. The Interval of a Second
4. The Interval of a Third
5. The Interval of a Fourth
6. The Interval of a Fifth
7. The Interval of a Sixth
8. The Interval of a Seventh
9. Ostinato
