Just recently started composing entirely by pen and paper. I want more manuscript paper.

PS: This will fit better in Software and Hardware, thus i'm moving it there.

Chalk and a blackboard. You can write and erase and write and erase and do math on the side
I just hope this doesn't turn into another of the Finale vs. Sibelius wars

No offense, but every composer knows that's the lamest and hardest way to write music. I mean, it's not very portable, you can't fit a lot on it, chalk is nasty...

No, I admit that most of the time I don't. Ever wonder why I have no pieces posted?
But hey, this summer I plan to write something.
I Finale.

Most of the time, you don't do what...write music on a blackboard?

I Finale.
lol, me too! You can edit so easily, but Sibelius is more user-friendy.

I've tried both but for some reason I prefer Finale. Maybe I just like the user-interface a little more.

Write music period. At least nothing more then a few measures in length.

Yeah, well, I like NoteWorthy Composer. It works a lot like microsoft word.

And it doens't have so many fancy features that it doesn't need. It lets you do everything you would want to do. OKay sure the tuplet thingy is kind of limited but there's a way around that.

And entering notes is so easy!
