It's true. When reading sharps, the voice tends to sit higher on the pitch, while in flat keys, it sits under the equal-temperament, if only slightly.

It sounds pretty forced in places. It sounds like its moving somewhere really cool and then jumps back the other direction. You need to let it flow a little more; let the music write itself with you as the means, not the other way around. And you need to work with the choir on there vowel shape a little more. There are a few places (mostly where the basses are singing out of their comfortable range) where this dark "ahhh" sounds more like a tired "ugghh". Congratulations on getting a group to do this though! It really is the best opportunity to learn and grow, and lets face it: thats what music is all about! Keep it up!
