This is my first song composed for my biology teacher's project...
I had to pick a theme based on biology...
so I've chosen the HEART or the Heart Beats...
I tried to create a progressive song development and I hope I succeded..

I am waiting for your comments on it..

whoa, your teachers weird.

Nice piano concerto : P

I have only good things to say about this... except, that its not finished >_<

I love the beggining with the timpani acting like the heart beat, very cool idea. If you have a 1st and second violin, why not use harmony??? Oh wait, you do later on in the piece I think a flute would work better for those high clarinet sections. OMg I LOVE the triplet section. okay, more orchestration questions, why did you use bass instead of cello, its kind of weird, you have violins and then bass, nothing in between, the violins will always drown out the basses with no cellos or anything else in between. Also the writing for the bass was kind of dull, I think It was used only to fill in the little gaps left by the rest of the piece. Okay maybe I had more than one not so good thing to say about the piece. Well, this was VERY fun to listen to, I mean, don't focus on the other things I said this was a very good piece of music. Excellent work!!! I love it, just finish it!
