A little too simple for my tastes, although the melody was rather pretty.

I like music that varies in dynamics and moods. This one bored me to tears in some spots. The instrumentation isn't amazing...but yet it still has some odd enjoyability to it.

Good work, I suppose,

Nico

Wow I wasn't expecting that.

Everything seems to be in place, but I think you should add other instruments, unless you want this piece to be a solo, then cut into the middle and add some vivace(basically I'm meaning something different with a little more life, return back to the main idea then go into the actual vivace part.

Have a profound day.

Funny, sounds a lot like Respighi...

The piano quartet is COMPLETE!!!

Please note that I will not review the following without a very good reason:
1) MP3-only posts: no score + outside link = bad deal. Especially true because I'm on dialup when at home.
2) Shoutbox or PM spam: excessive shameless plugs get very annoying very fast.
3) Pieces written in a short time or with little effort: if it's not worth the composer's time and energy, then it's not worth mine either.

Well here are some features I liked.

I liked the arpeggiating left hand throughout. I also liked how the last 30 seconds or so got more upbeat. That is cool but maybe that should be earlier two like somewhere in the B section.

From what I could tell the form was ABAC is this correct? Umm I liked the way it sounded kind of an upbeat minor mode. IMy favorite part was the meter changes, but it was great I enjoyed listening to it!
