near the end i heard some bad notes. I am playing this for my piano exam, and so I have gone over this particular section a million times over...and yes, I just heard some wrong harmonies at the end. Or perhaps it was just because on the piano it sounds different. Dunno.

Hehe, Im glad someone has taken the initiative to orchestrate this sonata. It sounds good, and I am constantly explaining to my teacher how I can hear different orchestral sounds in this sonata...and she looks at me weirdly, but I think its coz I am weird. And yes, its nice to hear an orchestration of it that actually does the sonata justice.
Well done.

The PDF peeved me off too...it didnt work. ah well. sounds good.

There is a problem in measures 39-40 isn't there?

The melodic line ventures outside the range of the violin. Are you employing Klangfarbenmelodie? LOL
But seriously, is this acceptable? I'm orchestration-illiterate.

Another thing in measure 40: I think the phrase is unnecessarily terminated (the melodic line in the violin should end with an A flat as in the original sonata, don't you think?).

I think this project is going swimmingly, but man you are committing a mortal sin of bumping. Repent!!

Thanks for commenting!
The violin is out of range? If it went out of range, the notes would turn red. At least, they do in Sibelius. Where do you see the violin going out of range?

and... bumping??

The line does not go out of range in your score (fragmented), but it does in the original text (see picture). Oh and bumping in this case means replying to yourself ... Generally it's bad but maybe it's OK in this forum?

I'm pretty sure that the viola covers those few notes. I don't think I have the violins playing that.
Oh... I only do that when I update my files.
