First Movment of my second piano concerto

There are some bugs with the bassoon and timpani sound.

Hope you like it

SimenN: Without a doubt, you have an excellent orchestrative, creative, and lyrical talent. Both your piano concertos seem to have a very authentic baroque flow to them. There is almost nothing negative to say about this movement.

The few negative things: Section from 4:00 to 4:20 was harmonically poorly constructed. In some sections, the dissonances caused by counterpoint served to relax tension.

Good piece. You have a real ability.

This was really good I'm not usually into a piano played in a baroque style, but i really enjoyed listening to this

May i be cheeky and ask what instruments it was orchestrated for? (aside from piano obviously! )

This is orchestrated very well and flows along nicely. You are missing the ending in your file, it just stops at around 7 minutes.

It is good to be able to compose like this and it will teach you a lot. Just keep in mind that this style is not done much anymore and there are not a lot of fans left for this era of music.

One last thing. I would suggest editing your first post and adding the link to the mp3 there as well as in the 2nd post. Some people will miss it if you do not and will feel stuck with the midi.

It's a pleasure for ears in this 'bunch of modern music' (I really don't like anything after 19th century, and 18.-19. is 'my time'). Your concert reminds me on Mozart (piano opening), Bach (orchestra, but piano 5:10 - 5:40) Vivaldi - section around 4:00 ... Delightful mix. And it's really good D major ambience I love 5:00 - 5:45

Thank you very much, im glad you liked it. Good to hear that some one is into the "old" music. I draw a line at Mozarts death
