Here is one from a set of 12 Piano solos I composed in a similiar style called, "Fount of Mercy".

They are more simplistic in structure, but by that they capture something only simplicity can.

Let me know what you think, please don't say it sounds like Yanni and such because I have listened to much of the more modern new-ageish piano music and this is not like what I have heard, unless there is someone I have not heard of that uses similiar style.

Either this piece left people speechless, or bored them to sleep.

Or maybe 9 people downloaded it, as it reads, and they either fell asleep from bordom, or were left speechless.

Since I want people to comment on my work, I figure I should "Treat others as I would like to be treated" as the Golden Rule goes.

Anyway, I really like it and I have little bad to say about it. It may have been a little boring, but that can be addressed with some artfully placed dynamic contrasts and retardando's appropriate for this style of music. For positives, I like the triplet melody at 1:31 a lot. I love the bVI chord at 2:07, but I would have personally made a bigger deal out it by slowing down and building up to it, but maybe that's impossible with midi, idk.

Overall, good stuff! Keep at it!

Hm... Yeah, the hardest opinions of this style come from classical musicians.
Whereas women not into classical music love them alot. They don't seem to
find them boring at all, but beautiful.

I found it enjoyable.
Did you compose this for any reason in particular?
It seems like it would be fitting for some sort of event.

No, not really. I just wanted to do a nice set of 12 piano works in this style.
Although, I only have 11 in the set, its 12 with the Prelude (which is of a different style). I may add one more to the set.

I'll post the Prelude.
