Hi,
This piece is very reminiscent of beethoven. A lot of appogiaturas and secondary dominants. However, at around 1:00, I felt that the piece really slowed down for me. Around 1:43, the two lines seem a little bit plain. At 2:20 I felt that energy was restored into the piece. The chords here are much more varied and interesting. 2:45??? I wonder what chord that is. Yes, this piece is similar to Beethoven's sonata 18. I'm not saying this is plagarism or even copying. All I'm saying is that it has that sort of playful, yet heavy style to it. At 4:03, the call - and -response is unnecessary.
Overall, very nice, I enjoyed it. I'm not going to comment on any techniques or anything. Just the overall music was very nice to hear and very classical. The harmony and bass hand were a little bit lifeless at times, but there were many enjoyable parts.
I look forward to hearing your third/last movement. Keep up the good work!
