Neat little tune. I particularly like your harmonic changes. Two things though... I thought the piece could have maybe done with some sort of introduction passage - to me it sounds like you are starting the piece halfway through it. I also thought that perhaps you could use a bit more rhythmic variation - instead of just sticking to quavers. Hope that helps.

I thought this piece was alright it could use some more devolopment like maybe a 2nd theme or element. As Finrod said it could use a intro also.
I liked the dynamics and overall springy feel of the piece

Quite nice.
A certain unexpectedness in the melody's rhythm is probably its most striking feature.

Thanks, there could indeed be some kind of intro, and as to the development, being a "Prelude", the development would be the following piece

Lovely melody. Rythmically interesting for sure. I like the way it threw me right into it like dropping into a stream of consciousness. My complain, however is that it frequently hints that its about to go somewhere but never actually goes anywhere.

i love the unusual/unexpected rhythm of the melody line!
i agree with seraphim that sometimes sounds like its about to go somewhere but never really does.
i know this is a prelude, but i still think that some kind of developement/contrasting idea in the middle section would be nice. your piece would have a climax and it would make what you already composed stand out even more.

i hope i help. =)

I love this! I think as a prelude to something this piece is fine. But I think it can stand alone as a short piano piece. I don't think an introduction is needed nor is a development or B section. I think it's just perfect the way it is. A very pretty short piece. Well done!

Thank you all for the comments. I like the piece the way it is,... I often hear it in my head. I never thought about the hints, nor the development. It was an experiment in some way, and I like the way it came out.
