Problem with finale

im composing a piece in 7/8 time signature (3+2+2) and just for one measure i want to change it to 3+3+2 (don't even as why) and when i enter the code in the measure making tool and press ok, finale totaly blocks out.... poor guy gets stuck doing one same operation and i have to cancel the process to make him stop... i realise this may just be my finale, but does it happen on yours too? (it's finale 2005)

Nope, this works fine with me. Have you tried re-installing the program?

Whenever I seem to have a problem with Finale, it seems to be related to me losing connectivity to a network drive, or my iDisk (I am using a Mac).

A reboot usually fixes that.
