Rêve

This song has almost anything in it from composers I love:

1) Yoko Kanno: Harmony and structure of phrasing
2) Hitoshi Sakimoto: Climax in horns
3) Michiru Oshima: Triangle+climax from Full Metal Alchemist movie
4) Lord of the Rings melody
5) Hamauzu: use of hobo
6) Kenji Ito: Some harmony at the beginning of the song
7) Yuji Toriyama: Symphonic poem hope: the melody in the violin has been used in my song.

hi katchum,

I think your piece is very nice in melody and harmony and I do really like the last part and the ending. But sometimes you can't really hear all what's happening in your piece as the quality of the mp3 isn't that perfect. And I don't know the format of the file you atatched. Any chance you can post the score that everyone can read it or that I can open it with Sibelius? (or maybe a midi-file)

I think I could make a better review seeing the score

Yes, it seems I used too many basses, they sound too hard. I think it's the fault of the horns and the Cbass in the bass line.

Or it could also be the reverb. I used Cathedral effect with 90 % reverb mix. A bit of overkill.
