Reflection

This is a short piece I wrote called "Reflection", part 4 of Meditation. It was composed by myself and my Korg Triton Extreme.

I already have the first three parts finished, and the rest will be finished eventually. You can check those out here along with my other songs if you haven't checked them out before.

"Reflection" is very similar to "Deep Thought", and is a little more relaxing and emotional. The meaning of the song is to go back to past meditated thoughts and reflect on them. You can listen to it here.

Enjoy.

deffinatley pretty meditative

for a while it sounded pretty new age, not a style I am particularly found of, but the viola (or whatever string instrument that was) turned things around with quite a beautiful line. I don't particularly like the part where the high strings come in towards the end, is it neccesary?

Overall pretty well written piece, a score would be nice, I really like the viola line as I said earlier, but at some points the piece sounded rather new age, and if thats what you like great , but I am not really fond of that sound. You also captured the meditative reflection theme well

Thank you very much for your review virtualshock.

I'm sure the marimba tone I put into the song generated a new age effect to it. It's not something I'm necessarily fond of; I could've added some reverb to it. But I didn't want the tone to sound drastically different compared to my first 3 pieces.

Also, the high strings in the end are meant to fulfill the ending of the song. It's just the way I make my music; I need to make each song feel "complete". Most of my songs build up towards the end, in a sort of "suspenseful" way.

But anyways, I appreciate your review. I'm glad you liked it.
