I have to provide a link because YC only let's me have like 10k right now...

http://forum.classicalarchives.com/message...html?1137794499

the last post there is the revision. Listen to the whole thing, because there are slight revisions and there are major ones.

Thanks for commenting in advance lol!

~Nico

P.S. If ur short on time...the most revision is in the 2nd theme about 2:20 - 3:50 (counterpoint added, and cello line was changed). There is also a very "fancied up" spot around 4:30 - 4:45 (much counterpoint added). Pizzicato too around 5:20 - 5:30.

Haha i finished the 3rd movement! I got bored and whipped up this scherzo in 20 minutes.

It's nothing, but it will make you smile!

Enjoy, please!

Go to the last post. The first one is the unrevised 1st movement. The 2nd the 2nd movement, the 3rd the revised, and the 4th post is the MIDI you want.

Please take the time to listen, it's so stupid, but so fun!

yello, the scherzo is cute, though relies on the first violin wayyyyyy! too much. You could vary it up and give some of the fun to the other players.

The grave is good though it's build up isn't as, I really like the triplets and dotted eighth notes I was hoping so badly that your melody would intertwangle with that and really get it moving though that never happened and you end it nicely since it is just the first movement I'm not going to make a big wine about the climax not being the best, I'm just hoping the 4th movement is what will bring it up and top it off.

Good job I questioned some of your form but returning to the intro was the most awesome it really left me in a state of suspense and wishing it to grow which you sorta do.

Good luck with the rest

Very nice! I loved the pizzicato!!! Im not really sure what happens at around 7 min. Is that in the old one? Maybe I just havent heard the other one in a while, but just that part sounded kinda different....... This is a wonderful piece! I always find myself humming it. Well, anyway........ Great job, Nico!!!!
