Overall this piece is quite charming with a novel instrumentation.

At times the uppermost part is a bit shrill and seems to struggle against the busier lower parts. I wonder if giving that high instrument - not sure what it is - a solo in the middle of the piece might augment the dreamy mood of the piece.

An enjoyable piece

yeah, they struggle indeed, and that was intended to be so, in order to create 2 contrastant levels of reality at the same time. like as if 2 lovers were trying to understand each other, or when one loves and cries, and the other hates and despises. such things about love

Yes, there is what you say in the piece. To me, the upper flowing part is often not as strong as the lower parts and is "losing the struggle" so I wonder if a second smooth instrument (say in a lower pitch range) could be added to balance the flowing instruments against the percussive.

A very interesting concept for a piece.
