Back again with another piece I finished a while back. I've planned to write 12 Romances, one in each key. Don't think I'll do a Well-Tempered Clavier and do all major AND minor, but there you go.

Have a (romantic-era) symphony brewing the background. Movements I and II are finished. I've started on III. Should arrive this way sometime in the future.

Romance II in E major (I've only completed one other, number VI. Don't dare ask about the numbering)

P.S. The midi is horrible.

lovely romantic piece! relaxing and a bit sweet-sorrowful. just a thing: after the fortissimo chord at 1:50 i could expect the beginning of a more dramatic section, but you return to the former tranquil mood. a little deceptive, but just a little, the overall piece is very fine. just i thinked that in that moment you could start another and more contrastant section, maybe more emphatic, or maybe even on contrary, more bright and light-hearted, before returning to the former peaceful pace, because the material is very pregnant. anyway good job!

Very Beautiful! I look for ward to hearing the rest of them. I think you could have made it more harmonically complex in your progressions and such but it's a good start, I'm sure by the time you finish you'll be pro at the romantic emotion
