I really liked your piece It was very lush and beautiful. Great Job hopefully I could get up to that level of choral composition some day.

Here is a piece of useless information you may be interested in: I finished school last year, and left with the last batch of good music students. There are now 8 people all up in music class, and 3 students who actually know what they are doing. Its really sad how music has declined. So, earlier on this year, I went to a music summer school, and had my first experience with a choir (that was actually good)...which inspired me when i got back home, to ask my old school if i could start a 'senior school' choir.

They said Yes!!! So, even though i am no where near qualified, I will be volunteerily starting the choir at the school. It is a very pop oriented school...but i plan on bringing works like yours in to their repertoire.

If there are any people out there who believe in prayer and God (I'm a Christian), can you please pray for me that this will go well.

And for those who read that last sentence and rolled your eyes, dont do it too much, because one day, they may roll backwards and stay there.
Wow its great that you are trying to bring classical music back to ur school. I will keep you in my prayers.

I'd hope no one rolled their eyes. That was a very respectful and unimposing request for support from your peers in what must be quite a difficult endeavor. I am not a Christian, but I too am sending good wishes your way.

Hey Tenor!

This piece has changed since I last looked at it.

Phenomenal recording, though I can see some re-auditioning of a few sopranos may be in order.

haha thanks im glad you liked it.
Again, just a reading so with more rehearsal i think those sopranos would suffice.

Scott, wow, this was so beautiful. I hadn't been able to hear it properly when I listened to it on myspace - I knew it was lovely but I didn't know it was this sensitive or so very intelligent and intuitive. Great text-setting, you obviously had a really great vision for this. And well done on getting it performed, even if it was a bit unsure in places.

O thankyou!! Did you friend me on myspace? I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the nice comments. It was again just a reading so I'm with it for a 30 min. rehearsal.
Thanks again!!
