Question

Hello!

This piece is called "Losker" and I used around 4-5 hours on it (today). Its first time I used strings but it sounds nice to me. I dont know how musically right it is.
I hope it fit to this forum.

Tell me what you think about it!

Not gonna lie to you, I came into this expecting a pretty bad piece of music. Not gonna lie, it wasn't too bad, but you switched from like pretty nice romantic to some weird version of pop. Not cool. haha. Too short, too.

This is my first post here, and I can feel good for actually doing something creative... These are just my thoughts on your work.

It sounds less like a string piece and more like a solo violin with random background pop music that happens to contain string instruments. The violin part is okay, but it might be better without the drum set and with more real harmony. As it is it sounds like a long commercial jingle. It needs another part to harmonize with, or else it sounds like a substitute for the human voice singing about Goldfish, you know they're made with real cheese, even though they look like fishies.

I don't want to sound nasty, I just think there should be less drums and more harmony...

There is one violinist who is so bad they turned to viola. There is one cellist who hates violinists. Then there is the coach who always picks favorites. And they all get together to discuss famous composers every day for a year until a mysterious accident kills the violist."

Thanks for your comments!
When I listen to the midi now, it doesnt sound like I thought the first time, it sounds too random I guess. I will remove the drums etc and rebuild it when I get the time.
