Hi all.
I've just started on some composing, and this is one of the first things I've done. The melody here isn't very good but I've tried to do some other interesting things with the piece. Please let me know what you think and if you have suggestions!

Sorry, that midi doesn't sound right. This one should be better.

The piece sounds like a national anthem in my opinion. Also, the sibelius sounds like the cello is a timpani or a tuba. Otherwise a nice piece. Do you play any of the instruments to a string quartet. I play in one; in fact we just played two movements of Schubert's "Rosamunde" quartet in public.

I suppose the sibelius sounds messed up because I was using a different sample set. Obviously it was supposed to be all string quartet sounds. I actually have never played any stringed instrument besides guitar. Is my piece decently written for the instruments I used?
