Sibelius 4 with Garritan Personal Orchestra/mac os compatible midi yoke?

Hi

Does anyone know how I can get my Sibelius 4 to play with GPO? I just found out that sibelius 4 has its own GPO sibelius edition-which is not the one i bought. unfortunately i bought my GPO off ebay so there's no return on the product for store credit here. so my options are to either upgrade to sibelius 5...which i am considering doing...if i can't find a solution to get this to work.

I've been told by the crew at sibelius to download a VST and use it with a midi yoke (all new terms I learnt tonight). I've downloaded a VST but I can't find a mac compatible midi yoke. Any ideas?

Would love yo hear from ya!

cheers

Unfortunately you cant't implement your own VSTs in Sibelius 4. I'm having the same problem and I think upgreading to sibelius 5 would just be the simplest way. I didn't konw what a midi yoke is, too.So I googled it, but It seems quite complicated and unusual to me (As far as I understood it you redirect the midi data coming out from your sequencer to your vst instrument.. is that right???) and you should consider that you would probably have a much easyer life directly implementing the instrument to sibelius 5 where thats possible.
