Sibelius: A few practical questions (w/ illustrations)

Hey,

I have a few practical questions I'd like to understand.

1° I can tie 2 successive notes together but how do I tie several notes? as in the picture below.

2° Also regarding writing, I'd like to get this written down with Sibelius :

But so far, all I can manage is this:

Could someone maybe guide me through this?

3° A trivial matter, but I find the notes to be too tight together, it's too crammed on the sheet. Is there a way to widen the space between notes so it's less compact?

4° Finally, are there any other instruments apart from piano to choose from when you use the playback?

Any help regarding these small issues would help me a bunch needless to say.

Cheers

-Greg.

Did you try reading the manual before coming here with your relatively basic issues?

Seriously.

Indeed.

The first thing is a slur, not a tie.
For the second, look on the keypad w/ the beams. Select the last 16th of the triplet. Press the 8 key.

Thirdly, don't use the stupid jazz font. You can adjust note spacings and sizes in I think it's document options or page layout. Or the manual.

In the 2nd one you just put the triplet a 3rd too high. If you started it on G, like the image of the original shows, instead of B then it would most likely look right.
