Frantz, this topic is for submitting pieces which have been written according to the guidelines for the solo piano competition.

Hey I have finished my entry for this competition, and I look forward to the Poem Setting One!

My entry is not in a clear-cut theme and variations form...it's sort of different. It starts out with rhythmic variations of a chord progression, sort of like a chaconne, then grows and changes the harmony, then breaks away to a more melodic sort of variations, adlibbing, and end. The variations are pretty obvious in most cases, however. But the precise number would definitely be more than 10, seeing as how the chords and melody are repeated a lot, sometimes with only minor changes.

So here it is!

What I Can only see Nickthoven's variations, what about the rest of the contestants ? Should the judges wait for a while (like for the others to realise the due date is up) or grade the submissions now ??

I'm going to wait 'till we have three submissions

Obviously we have to do something differently the next time.
