God I HATE MIDI!!
Anyway... I'll post mp3's in Finale quality sound as soon as I can.
String Quartet Nš1, in A Major, Opus 5 (Copyright: 2006, by M. Bulteau, a.k.a. Berlioz)
IMPORTANT!!!
It's not a conventional quartet, instead of being for 2 violins, 1 viola and 1 cello; it's for 1 violin, 1 viola, 1 cello and 1 doublebass.
Composed with Finale 2006.
Took about 4 or 5 days of actually working time (distributed by a month).
Divided into three movements:
1st- The main theme of the first movement was what inspired the creation of the quartet. It's a theme I associate to a girl I know, to be played on a cello (Because I always associated the cello to her... Weird, huh? Besides, girls playing the cello are sexy...

).
2nd- This was the movement I made in last place. Nothing much to say, except that the MIDIS SUCK!!!

3rd- This one was the funniest to compose, with a celtic theme in the middle...
The main difficulty was to find enough "melodies" to counterpoint the main ones, but I think it went fairly well...
It's my first quartet. I believe it sounds from classical to sometimes folkloric...
Tell me what you think!
