String trio- Mvt. 2

I posted the first movement of my Two Pieces for String Trio in chamber music earlier. I started working on the second movement a little while ago, so here's the opening.

I think that the modern feel is very original and it would give the strings a very nice texture. It seems to be very free-form right now, and not constricted to any specific meter. I'd suggest you continue this. Some dynamics would be nice too.

I don't know if my ears are adjusting to modern music, but I thought that this piece was very pretty (or what you have of it). In fact in some parts, I could sense some romanticism. Again, the dissonance was *just* within the bounds of my tolerance. I liked it.
