Suspended Cymbal Roll

I compose in Sibelius 3, with Kontakt Player Gold. You will undoubtedly have noticed, if you compose with these, that it's virtually impossible to get a good suspended cymbal roll. Do you know of a convenient way to make one? Or, really, _any_ way? I wouldn't even be opposed to adding a wave of a cymbal roll to the .wav file, since these things can be estimated pretty well, but the point is that it's important to a wind orchestra composer to be able to synthesize this kind of roll... Thanks!

Well, there are sample kits that have all sorts of orchestral percussion, including the ever-popular suspended cymbal. In MIDI, though, I just figured how long the MIDI note lasted before it cut off and tried to overlap sus. cymbal notes until it was as long as I wanted it, then just fade up the volume on that track until the climax. Yeah, you can hear the different cut-off points for the various notes, but the general feel is that it's one gradual build. It's not as good a solution as samples, but it works...to a degree.
