SYMPHONIC COMPETITION SUBMISSIONS

Here, all contestants will post their entries into the Competition. This thread is ONLY for this purpose. There is to be no discussion at all.

Judges will then download each entry and comment on it, discussing things like Orchestration, Development, Clarity, Form, Originality and Overall Presentation. The scores will be discussed too. These comments will be sent to myself (since I am no longer in the competition), at nickthoven[at]yahoo.com.

NOTE: The entries MUST include: score and audio file. Score can consist of: .mus, .sib (or scorch), .pdf, .jpg/.png(other image files). Audio file: MIDI, mp3, ogg, etc. Both are necessary. If a certain judge does not have the correct programs to view a contestants entry, the contestant will be asked to include alternate forms of a score.

ONLY POST if you are 100% done with your entry, and this thread will close in 5 days. (that means 4:00pm EST, Thursday April 5th, 2007.)

Piece Finished

Hey I finished my piece. The Finale file is attached to the messege. Please use it only to look at the score. Do NOT listen to it. Go to SoundClick artist: stephenspies - Band page with MP3 music downloads on SoundClick to hear it. It is called Rivers Path. Thankyou.

Symphony No. 1 in Bb

Symphony No. 1 in g minor, currently named "The Busride" because of the site of inspiration. The percussion part is for crash cymbal, snare drum, and bass drum.
Movement 1- Allegro con passione
Movement 2- Andante con fuoco (at the end, I have no idea what's going on with the fermata haha!)
Movement 3- Allegro vivace

You can listen to the file, look at the score, or both at the same time
Thanks!
-Isaac
