Ah the good ole drama days. We did Waiting for Gotto as our Theatre of the Absurd piece. It was hard work. I got to say 'erection'.

Im surprised that shostakovich or stravinsky or any of those other zany composers didn't write music to the play...im sure existentialist music would have been something they could have written very well.

About the music you(?) wrote...i love it Its very crazy and fits the Theatre of the Absurd well. Excellent sample library too...what is it? Or are you one of those lucky ones and get these things recorded? ...or like the (?) entales, is it your music?

Despite my distaste for avant-garde music, Fantastic piece nontheless.

Thank you kindly Goodridge...
I'm not sure what this theatre of the absurd is all about.
My piece pertained to life's absurdities in general and is not correlated to anything else theatrical.

I write with Reason 2.5 . And yes, I write this stuff note for note.
Unfortunately I have shopped my music around and I just about have given up getting any of it played.
I cannot even get my smaller ensemble pieces played.

But so what. Thank God for software!

Thank you very much for listening...
Mike

Thank you Goodridge.
Funny you should mention it.
I received an e-mail from a local university where the head music professor is interested in having my smaller string pieces performed.

We have to get together and see what happens.
This is all I could really hope for.

Again, thank you for your interest...

Mike
