Theme

what kind of theme does this sound like? violin sonata for violin and piano? string quartet? should I make any changes to the theme to possibly make it better? thoughts before I begin just writing this thing to death? I could end the theme with an F - A - F instead of the arpeggio? sounds like it would make a good rondo.. I could repeat that twice then add a part b to the theme.. let me try that now (i'll edit in a sec)

I agree it sounds like a sonata. From there maybe vary the theme. If it were me I would slow it down and move it to a minor key for a bit before coming back to it. Beyond that I'm not sure what advice I'd give but I like the theme itself!

concerto for two clarinets? it does sound like a sonata.. but for what instrument does it sound like it would be best? it definitely needs a piano I think... because there's good contrapuntal bass.. piano and wind is nice for that.. maybe flute and piano... idk

try getting rid of those strings, just having the piano with the two clarniets. I think that would sound excellent.

Good idea. That's a big improvement, I really like the piano in there! You're right about needed to replace the second clarinet, it's just too difficult to distinguish. I would say a flute as well, so go for it!
