Tiësto ft. BMG - No More Heroes (Neuchatel Dark Mix)

This is a little cutie I created over two days. Main focus is the darkness of the track, boosted with some 303-basslines and psy/dark trance-like synthlines. It morphs into more uplifting in the break and take-off.

I really enjoyed making this one, because it got so much drive and good bassgroove in it, so have fun listening.

I am unfamiliar with electronic compositions and have never tried one, so I decided to try listening to some songs in this area. It is very interesting, and I enjoyed it. It would be great for a nightclub and has some great rhythyms. Because of my little knowledge of this category, I'm afraid I can't offer much in the way of advice. However, I thought it was very cool.

This is one sweet tune! I don't know a lot about the technical side of dance music but my brother's a DJ and writes this kind of stuff (ish) (Warning Sine) so I hear a lot of it... and I love this. I felt myself wanting at 1:15 what came in at 3:20, but it's all the better for the wait, and when it comes it's wonderful. Some really cool rhythmic stuff here, nice mini-drops (with the little 'duh-duh' lol, offbeat staccato quavers or such like rising a tone to the tonic after 7mins and possibly before - that's pretty fat ). I possibly thought the ending could be a bit more dramatic/ecstasied? Still, it's such a great tune. Well done... !

(PS. What did you use to write it on?)

a whole lot better than anything that I've heard at a dance all year.

keep it up, I would love to go to a rave where this was being played.

btw the question came asking what I used to write the song. I used Orion Platinum for this, but I mainly use reason 4 nowadays.
