time signature for finale 2006 Mac

Hey

I need your help! Does anyone know how to hide the time signature from time to time, NOT always. The beginning of my piece I'm currently working on is just an improvisation and the time signature must be hidden. However after this section, it has be appeared as 4/4. How do I fix this???

press F1

once that is done, you could also try typing in "measure attributes", or "hide time signature".

In musical criticism, when issues of craft and technical consideration are set aside, what remains is more subjective. However, until technical issues are dealt with, the subjective portion bears considerably less weight.

Qccowboy's advice is good.

But if you just want to hide the time signature, you can also go to Help -> Index, and look for "Time Signatures", and then click on it, and then look for "Hide Time Signatures" and then do what it says.
