...Yes, thank you. I think the humour of the situation just got cleared too. *Sigh*

If you knew how to fix it, why post it here?

Um, besides the whole "humour" thing that's becoming a distant memory, it still counts as a technical problem in my books. Last I checked, giant squares being substituted for emoticons was not part of vBulletin's feature list.

Yes, but that's your problem not the forum's and has been reported here by various people (probably half the time by me).

The "giant square" was just your browser mixing up two images.

As for humor...

Okay, sorry. *gets off soap box and goes back to doing whatever it is nerds do at night*

This problem seems to recur with Firefox, and can be resolved by clearing its cache.

Come to think of it, everyone join the cache clearing party: those Christmas icons will probably be with you until about February if you don't.

Mine seems to have done the job by itself... everything is back to normal.

On the topic of entertaining slipups, check this one out. I've never had this happen before...

Actually.... it does that whenever I first open the page (before logging in) when I use Opera. Any idea why?

Can't reproduce that one myself.

The only quirk I notice when viewing the front page in Opera is the tabs being behind the main page content, but that is such a small issue it really isn't worth fixing.
