Uncharted Stranger - Waltz

Voila, I just wanted to write a waltz for saxophone (tenor) and ended up with this. Added Oboe d'amore and English horn later.

For tenor sax, oboe d'amore, english horn, harp and string quintet.

It's a ABA form, more or less.

Doesn't sound happy , does it? ... hm..somehow I can't write happy things...

This one's for PFC

this is very nice. but if I were you i would forget about the sax very fast and change it to calrinet cause this ensemble doesn't work for me this way. you set up a very specific mood from the begining that literally can't stand the saxophone. consider it. otherwise this piece has a really great feeling to it. I enjoyed listening to it very much.

Thank you.

But doesn't the sax just represent that ... stranger?

I know that it doesn't exactly work this way, but this was my intention.
