Hello all...
Well, my compositions are not of a typical sense.
I just write em as I hear them.
I have always loved the element of surprise in composition and this element has enabled me to compose true to my personality.
I have been criticized for my thematic practices which my modulations may be incessant.
I get bored easy...
I do not try and stretch any imaginary boundaries purposely. I just try and organize sound the best way I can to depict a situation as lucidly as I possibly can.

Sound is at our disposal. It beckons to our every whim and desire. Sound never argues with us or tells us we can't do this or that.
Sound is very kind to us and I have the utmost respect for it.
In a compositional sense, sound is my best friend.
I do not differentiate music from sound. It all depends how the intervals were organized which is, and can only be determined through a subjective scope.

When a composition ends, that's entirely false. Life just offers a unique and dissonant modulation until a different piece is played.

My music is free for public consumption.
I thank you for your time...

Greetings, Millio. I've just checked out the top piece from your soundclick site (Statistical Density For The Statistical Mind...). Compositionally, I thought it was very interesting (the serial parts were particularly tastefully done, I felt), though production-wise it left me wanting a bit more (mostly due to the nuences of the MIDI-ish samples). The piece does shift around quite a bit (you do seem to get bored rather quickly ) , but never in a manner to be too distracting.

By the way, I don' t think we can be friends with things above us, like sounds. It compells us as much as it controls us - at best, we can be an willing servent, at worst, a mind-wrought slave. As for life being an composition, I feel that my own is caught up in a wildly propagating climax, scaling up and up until it can no longer sustain it's own weight. But I digress....

Good stuff, I'll definitely listen to the rest of your music in due time.

Hi Mike,

I do completely agree with these statements. I myself like to use sounds as a starting point and as a tool for what I put together. I listened to contemplation and depictingthemonothonyofboredom, which I both enjoyed. I think they would sound great live. I especially liked the introduction of the voices, making your statements dead explicit!

Take care,

Serge
