Hi everybody!

It's been a while since I have been on the forums so I decided I would post some more stuff so you guys can keep posted.

This is a band work that I wrote some time ago, and I recently "overhauled it", i guess you could say.

It is based on the concept of motion. Once it gets cranked up, it doesn't stop until the end.

I am eager to hear what everyone thinks.

Thanks
Price Walden

Cool! Overall, I really like the energy of the piece; it sounds very exciting. I especially liked the 7/8 section and how it leads up to the ending.

You might want to consider using more offbeat rhythms and rhythmic accents (perhaps a bass drum hit every so often on an off-beat?). If possible, listen to "Short Ride In A Fast Machine" by John Adams, since he does this very well.

Hope to hear more music from you in the future! Maybe you could give me some pointers for scoring for band, since I'm mostly an orchestra guy who wants to branch out...

Fantastic! What great orchestration. I have no criticism at all. I don't usually care for concert band pieces, but this was a kick in the pants.
